Facilitation is an active endeavor. During Schwartz Rounds®, Facilitators wear multiple hats. Your role is to support panelists, manage content and process, keep time, ensure various perspectives can speak, note group dynamics, and model compassionate behaviors — while also attending to the Narrative Flow of Schwartz Rounds and incorporating, as necessary, elements of trauma-informed facilitation.

While some conversations may feel easier to facilitate than others, it is crucial to recognize that strong Schwartz Rounds facilitation should always be active and thought-provoking.
